Of late, DVD has become the most preferred source of media formats now being resorted to by most of the persons across the world. The compatibility of many video formats such as avi, mpg, mov and flv to DVD format has been a thorn in the conversion process and the existence of many bit rates for each type of format makes it much more difficult for conversion to the latest DVD format.
It is here that a new tool in the block, AVStoDVD gains its importance primarily due to its ability to convert these different media formats to streams compliant to DVD format, both DVD-5 and DVD-9. Another interesting feature in this tool is that the bit rates of the different formats are assessed and the best-fit bit rate is calculated for the converted DVD format, which enhances the DVD quality. By calculating the best-fit bit rate for all formats, more number of movies can be packed into a single DVD without compromising the quality of the movies.
Other salient features of this new tool include less time for conversion, ability to add subtitles for each of the movies packed in the DVD and last, but not least, the requirement of minimal input from the user for creating the DVD, thus facilitating to handle the tool effectively. |
